Welcome to Wenatchee Valley Corvette Club
Wenatchee Valley Corvette Club located in Wenatchee, Washington for owners of modified or stock Corvettes of any year.
Mission Statement:
Advance the ownership of the Great American Sports Car through education and facilitation of events and cruises. Aggressively network and support other Corvette clubs throughout the state of Washington. Attend and support attendance at national Corvette events and seminars. Support other non profits in our local communities by attending their events and festivals.
The Wenatchee valley Corvette Club is a group of individuals who are committed to honoring the heritage of “the Great American sports car”, the Chevrolet Corvette. The club welcomes all individuals, young and old, who own a Corvette whatever the year, modified or stock. This is an organization that values fun and social interaction over rules and regulations. We encourage our members to actively participate in club meetings and events. We regularly solicit membership feedback and encourage members to give us their input on new projects, cruises and events. If you are a “Vette” driver the breadth of Corvette data that will be available to you through club membership will be invaluable.
Beneficiary of the Wenatchee Valley Corvette Club: In 2014 we, as a Club, selected the Wenatchee Valley Humane Society as the beneficiary of our fundraising.
Over the years WVCC has donated approximately $9,000 to the Humane Society. The donations to the Humane Society are accomplished though event proceeds.
History: John Kalahar, a retired baseball coach and teacher at Wenatchee Valley College started the club in 2010. John passed away in 2015 but because of his early work in 2010, many great things were about to happen. The event “Nothing but Vettes” was born in 2012 and was a success beyond all expectations. This event was and still is part of the Wenatchee Apple Blossom Festival. We planned on 30 cars and low and behold 60 cars showed up! There were shows in 2013, 2015, 2016 & 2017. Each show was more successful than the previous year. Recently, the club, under the leadership of Jim McDonald, formalized its structure by incorporating, adding a board of founding directors and started “The Best Corvette Show by a Dam Site” in April 2017. See the events page for more details about our 2021 show.
